Stuhlmiller  Gary
Stuhlmiller brings a diverse set of business, analytical, people and customer
service skills to his Exit Realty Carolina clients. A native of Buffalo, NY, he
completed his formal education at Cornell University (B.S.) and Duke University
(Ph.D.). After serving 17 years as an assistant professor in the Department of
Surgery at Duke Medical Center, where he had research and teaching responsibilities,
he has spent more than 16 years doing DNA identification testing. He has developed
an excellent reputation in courts around the country for his expertise, thoroughness,
character and credibility. Gary is member of Grace Lutheran Church in Durham,
NC, where he is a congregation leader and a commissioned Stephen's Minister (crisis
intervention). He has twice received accolades from North Carolina governors.
The first of these was for Entrepreneurial Excellence resulting from his formation
of Piedmont Research Corporation, and the second for Excellence in Volunteer Service,
the result of his co-founding of the Adopt-A-Family Ministry to the Pediatric
Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Duke Hospital. He is a member of the Leadership
Circle of the Alamance County United Way, and is a Patron Member and volunteer
of WCPE Classical Radio. He and his sons have lived in Mebane, NC for the past
